RELAXING INSTRUMENT

Next month will my birthday and our 9^th year wedding anniversary. Hubby is already asking me some suggestions for a gift. I have lots in my mind but some of them he already gave it to me 2 weeks ago. There is one thing that I really wanted to have, a Crystal Singing Bowls. My friend gave me a Tibetan singing bowls last year as a birthday gift. At first I didn’t know the significant of that bowl but after she explained to me and after I tried it, I understand why. The sound of it is very relaxing and gives me a very calming sensation in my body. Since then, I always use almost every night especially if I’m stress at work.

Yesterday, I told my hubby that I wanted to have a Crystal Singing Bowls for my birthday. This is another kind of singing bowls that helps heal physical ailment like failing kidney and not only that, it serves as a relaxing instruments too. This powerful thing gives us a multiple satisfaction.

I’m so looking forward to have it in my birthday. I told hubby ahead of time so that he can order it and have it on timeJ

SNOW STORM

It was winter when I arrived here in Canada 8 years ago. Since then, I started to love winter season. When snow storm came, I always asked hubby to drive me around coz I wanted to see what's going on outside. We have a small car way back then but it didn't stop us driving around. Hubby was very careful in driving. If he knows that it's dangerous, he will not go for it. Because of me, he started to love driving around if there's a snow storm...now, we both love it :-) A year after, he sold his small car and both a 4 wheels drive to spoil us. So there's no reason not to drive during snow storm.

This is the first winter that I'm driving on my own. I just realize how hard it is to drive in the road with 2 feet of snow. The first time I drove in a snow storm, it was 0 visibility. I see nothing but I was able to arrived safely at work. Then another one in a freezing rain. And this morning when I went to work, the main road was not yet clean. There was at least 10 inches of snow. I just drove slowly (good thing I have 4 wheel drive, jeep liberty diesel) but when I arrived in the parking lot, I had a hard time to park my car. We can't access the employee's parking space because they didn't clean it yet. I almost stack in the middle because I didn't know the snow is already too high. I was able to back up and park in the costumer's parking space.

Well, I guess I have to make use of it. I choose to live in this place so I have to live with it. All I need to do is always be careful in driving especially in the winter time :-)

Inspite of everything, I STILL LOVE WINTER:-)

MY CHRISTMAS TREE AND CHRISTMAS VILLAGE

When I was still a kid, I'm always excited when September come coz I can hear christmas songs starting that month and some big mall started to put up christmas decorations. When we grew up, me and my sisters used to put up christmas decoration in our house and with the help of my brother, we installed christmas lights outside. We used to have the best christmas lights way back then but since we started to have our own family, we move to different places and decorate our own house. One time, I asked my mom if they still have some christmas lights outside and she told me that they didn't put them anymore :-( I was so sad when I heard that but what can I do, I'm no longer living there.

I still continue my love of christmas decors. I always put them right after Holloween. At first, hubby don't like the idea of having them that soon but slowly, he started to like it. In fact, it's his idea to have a christmas village. Every year, we spend $100 to buy a christmas houses. Last year, we bought 3 because it was on sale, 40% off which is a very good deal. This year, we bought the biggest one (train station) with optic lights and it cost $70 for just one and to complete the $100, we bought the horses. My christmas village is not yet perfect but I'm still working with it to make it perfect...maybe not this year or the year after but time will come that I will have a perfect christmas village :-)

OUR LITTLE BAR

Finally, the bar in our basement is already finish. It took us a while to finish the whole basement because as I said in my previous entry, it's only hubby doing it with my help. He's not a professional carpenter but he can do carpenting job just in our house. I'm so lucky to have him because everytime I want something that needs carpenting, he will do it and I don't need to pay :-)

It took us 8 months to finish the basement with the bar. There are still little touch up to do but it can stay like the way it is until January. What is important now is we can have my early christmas party with my Filipino friends this coming Dec 3.

I made the design of the bar and hubby made it to reality. We are so happy with the outcome of our project. Honestly, I really like our bar. We did all the frame of the cap-board and the counter. The glass under the counter is the glass from the old shower that hubby had many years ago. It was in the basement so I told hubby why not use it and save $200.

We tried to clean the glass and take some of the soap scum. We put some cleaning stuff and we were able to get rid of the soap scum. We were so happy that we were able to reuse it.

As you can see, the lights of the two photos are different. It's because the lights change color depending on how you program the system. Hubby paid $300 just for the lights. I didn't expect he will spend that much just for the lights. It was really my plan to have a light like that but I didn't ask him because I know it's to way expensive and he already spent more than $10, 000 for the basement repair. But I was so happy when he told me that he already order the lights with remote control.

All in all, I love my basement :-) I call it my basement because it's me who spend more time in the basement and hubby spend more time in the living room. The basement is my style and the living room is his style:-)

MORE BLESSING

I received some blessing lately and I consider them as an early Christmas gifts. Well, I'm talking about the material things that hubby gave me lately. I thought that it's over but two days ago, my boss told me that he increase my salary. Oh boy! I was so happy after I heard the good news. I been working so hard and I guess i deserve it.

Every penny that I've earn from my work is for my family. I'm so happy that I can help them in my own little way :-)

BAD WEATHER

We're experiencing very strong wind and rain just now. This morning on my way to work, hubby stopped at Tim to buy me a take out breakfast. While waiting him in the car, a very strong wind came and the car shakes to strong that made me afraid. It's not just a simple shake that we sometime experience everytime there's a typhoon. I didn't know what to do, should I go out the car or stay...but I guess it's very obvious that going out the car is the safest way. As I was about to open the door, hubby came running. And at the same time, the newscaster in our local radio station announced that lots of temporary garage found in the street...

The wind is still strong until now. I hope there will be no big damage :-(

LAST WEEK OF STAYING HOME

It's right...this week will be my last week of staying home fulltime. I will start working next week in the same place and the same boss:-) .....I'm so excited to work back and earn more money:-) I'm already thinking of what will be my project this year with my salary...

Now, I have to enjoy every second of the day while I'm still free coz I will be working fulltime but no weekend and no night which is perfect for me.

SUMMER TRIP

We already planned for our trip this summer. Hubby will finish his work first week of July and be back in September. He is so lucky to have the whole summer off which is very rare to have. We always go for a trip every summer. Last summer, we decided to stay in Canada but we spent 10 days in Prince Edward Island. This year, we decided to spend 1 week in US. We don’t know which state yet but it will be in US for sure. I’m so excited now and infact, I already call my friend to have a meeting with her family. I’m sure it will be a great vacation. This friend of mine that I’m talking about is so special to me. She helps me when I was still in high school and I owe her a lot. I think it worth to give her and her family a gift. I think a will give them a ticket show at Ticketamerica.com where I bought hubby’s gift for Father’s Day. I don't know yet which ticket I will buy. Should it be cleveland browns tickets , doger stadium tickets or murat theatre tickets ? I don't know yet. I have to ask them which one is good. Ticketamerica.com has concert sports and theatre tickets for the murat theatre and for doger stadium as well as the cleveland browns with a very affordable price. This is great for me since I’m jobless just now. I can save a lot and I can give them a very nice gift.

TWO BIRD NEST

Yes, we have two bird nest under our patio. I saw this bird many times in my lilac tree and i just thought she just coming for food. Hubby found out this afternoon the mother bird inside the nest. Hubby check if there's a baby but it's still eggs that are there. We feel sorry for them because when we walk in the patio, the mother bird flew away..:-(

My entry for this week is this photo of my friend that I took while she was resting after 3 km of walk in the bike trail last February. This is what I like in winter. Even though it's cold, we can still do different activities outside if you just wear the proper cloth. As I always said, winter is my favourite season of the year.

While my friend was resting, I enjoyed playing the snow. I love playing outside during winter. I use to go in our backyard just to play especially if there is a snowfall. Snow storm is scaring but hubby and I always go outside. He also loves winter. He likes to play with his snow blower and he clean the driveway of our neighbor for free. He only clean their driveway if he has the time in the weekend or weekdays night.

We are very close to summer now which means I have to count months again to winter:-)

Day 3- still in Montreal. Sunshine is started to come out. As I said yesterday in my other blog, It was raining hard here and we didn't do anything much outside. We just go out for a coffee at Starbucks and then back home. It was quite cold also. But this morning, the sky is clear and it's warming up though the weather forecast is thunder storm. I hope thunderstorm will change his mind and will not come here anymore so that we can enjoy outside.

RAINING MONTREAL

Montreal use to be warmer than in Quebec City. When I pack my laguagge yesterday, I put summer clothes because it's already warm in our place before we leave. It was raining so hard yesterday afternoon when we arrived here. I thought that it's warm even thought it's raining but I'm wrong. It's only 13 degree C just now and it's still raining. The forecast is rain until monday. Oh boy, I guess I will not enjoy my stay here. We will be here until Monday and the worst is I don't have warm clothes with me :-(

I'm still hoping that rain will stop and sunshine will come out.

SHOULD I OR NOT?

I notice that I have few wrinkles in my face. I’m not that old yet. I’m still in the late 30’s but why I already have some wrinkle? Is it because of the stress? No, I’m not stress at all. I was thinking that maybe it’s because of my acne before. I really don’t have any idea. I ask my husband if I should use a wrinkle cream then he told me that I can try but I have to make sure that I will be using the best wrinkle cream or else I might get the worst result. I guess he’s right. So I will check for the best one now and I will give you some update next time.

SHOOTER GLASS COLLECTION

It's been a while now that I'm collecting shooter glasses. This is not just a simple collection. Each of them represents the city, state, or country that I already visited. I always bought one everytime I visited a place for the first time. I still have some in the box. I don't have much place now. I''m just waiting the furniture where I can put all my shooter glass collection in the basement.

This is only the collection I have that nobody is giving me one. I don't want that somebody will give me as a gift. I want to buy it by myself in the place where it represent. This collection is very important to me because it tells me where I'm up to in this world :-)

GRAND SHOW

It's been two years now since I'm into belly dancing class. I like to be in this class not only because of the dance but also knowing other dancers and having more friends. I'm not a good dancer that's why I took this class to learn. I improve a lot though I'm not losing weight :-) . I'm still in the beginners 2 but next session, I will be intermediate.

This Saturday will be our grand show. It stress me a little because my partner is in Philippines just know because her dad died 4 days ago and I loss a little concentration because the day of our grand show is also the day that my brother will undergo a gallbladder surgery, same time as my show :-(

I know God is always there to help him during the operation. God is good...all the time.

OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIPS MUFFINS

I'm so happy with the result of my oatmeal chocolate chips muffins. It's been a while that I'm craving for a sweet muffins. I tried to cut some sweets not because the doctor says so but I wanted to cut my sugar intake and loss some pounds. I don't think eating one once in while is bad. So I decided to make some for my craving.

Hubby is asking me to do some too because he loves to bring it in the office for his snack. He was so happy when he arrived from work today when he saw the muffins in the counter. He can't wait to taste it and I'm telling you, it's so yummy. The picture may not be good but the taste really is.

DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO MY FRIEND

One of my best friend is in the airplane just now heading to Philippines. She's not going there for a vacation but for her father's death. He died yesterday afternoon Philippines time. I don't know her father but I'm grieving for him. I know what it feels to loss a father. I loss mine 4 years ago and it takes me few years to recover the pain. I hope my friend will have a quick recovery from her father's death.

To my friend Emma, I am praying for you to get through this time with peace that comes from the knowledge that God loves you and will take care of you. Have a safe trip and may your father rest in peace.

3. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?
Yes I did when I was still in Philippines. I just arrived from Hongkong on that time and it was the time of SARS. I had the symptoms and I was admitted to the town hospital and they transfer me to the hospital in the city with the ambulance. So scaring hearing the sound..oh boy!

4. What is your favorite candle scent?
I don't have a preferred scent. If I like the smell, I buy it whatever scent it is:-)

5. Coffee or tea?
I used to drink coffee but my doctor wanted me to avoid it so I'm into tea now

HAPPY AND SAD BIRTHDAY

Yesterday was my birthday and our 8th years wedding anniversary. I was a little upset in the morning because hubby took me to Tim Horton's for breakfast that usually every weekend we always go to a fancy restaurant for brunch. Yesterday was not only my special day but it's our special day too. I was expecting that he will take me to a nice restaurant for brunch but he didn't. Tim is our favorite place but I felt that it's only an ordinary day yesterday.

Early in the evening, he told me that he made a reservation in a sea food restaurant for two. Then, I felt happy that finally we will celebrate it in a nice restaurant for our special day. But I didn't know that all my friends were there and so with his cousins which happen to be my friends too.

The night was full of fun, talks, laugh, eat and drink wine. I guess I had too much wine that makes me feel a little bit tipsy. When we arrived home, I was still able to transfer all my pictures in my laptop and still have time snuggling with hubby.

We both slept at 11:00 pm and at 1:00 am, I woke up with a severe chest pain. I ignore it at first because I just thought that it's the wine that stuck there especially that I slept facing down (as what I always do). I get up and took a glass of water but it gets worst. I woke up hubby and he warm up a little glass of water hoping that the pain will gone but it didn't. The pain spreed all over my upper body include my throat. Hubby was very afraid so he drove me to the hospital. Good thing that we are very close to the hospital.

When we register in the hospital, the send me right away to the emergency room. Put the oxygen in my nose, they inserted the IV in my left arm and took blood for a couple of test. They made an echo-cardiogram test to me, x-ray and couple of ecography test.

They bring me to the emergency room at 1:30 in the morning and they kept me until 11:30 in the morning. All the test were negative except that I have so much acidity in my stomach and it affected my liver (but not that worst). So they send me home to rest with some pills to take 1 every morning for 1 month, then minimize it until 1 year.

I was really looking forward to be home because I was not able to sleep last night with all that cord thing that connected in my body. I was not comfortable in their bed and the worst is, I can't sleep with my back. I always sleep facing down. I can't even move. I'm out of danger now but I have a back pain due to the uncomfortable bed.

Well, this is it...my happy (because of the surprise party) and sad (spending the night in the emergency room) birthday :-)

DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS THIS?

Sorry about the title :-) Honestly, I don't know the name of this little red thing that is like a fruit. It looks so yummy but this can't be eaten. I took a lot of pictures with this plant (or fruit? ) but in different places. This one, I took in Edmonton, Alberta last summer when I had my short vacation at my friend's place. This was taken at Muttart Conservatory. Honestly, I love the place. I saw almost all kind of flowers and plant. I would love to go back there.

GRANDMA & GRANDKID

That's my mom and my niece. I love this photo that I took during my last vacation in Philippines. It shows how my mom love her. Mom loves all her grandchildren but I can say that she's my mom's fave pet.

I really miss my family in Philippines. I'm looking forward to see them again.

ADDICTED

I'm not addicted to something bad. What I'm addicted at this moment is the TV Series GILMORE GIRLS. I been watching this show since I was still in Philippines but I was not able to follow it because we don't have cable line and the show was very bad reception. But then, when I arrieved here in canada, I was able to watch it but then again, I was not able to follow it in the sense that we're always travelling and if not, we always go around the city for a visit. I can't stay in the house always just to wait for the show.

Every time I visited HMV, I always feel to buy the complete series but it's too expensive and I don't feel to ask hubby to buy me one because it's not really that important to me. If I have it, it's good but if I don't have it, then it's not really the end of the world. I was just waiting a good chance to buy me one or maybe somebody will give me as a gift :-)

When I started working fulltime, I told to myself that it's the right time to buy the compete series because I have my own money now. I went to HMV and ready to but it, but I've change my mind. Instead of buying the complete series, I bought one series at a time. It cost $19.99 for a season. Infact, it's more expensive than buying the complete series. But what I don't like is that, the complete series is in one box. I wanted to have the pack of every season so that I can put it in my dvd rock and it looks so nice. I bought season 4 and season 5 because I didn't see them in the tv. And I wanted to wait for the other season after I finish this two just for my collection and I love watching them over and over again though I'm done with them.

Two weeks ago, I went back to HMV to buy the rest of the dvd. But guess what? I can't find them anymore. I was so disappointed because I'm ready to buy the rest. I been to Renaud-Bray hoping to find it there and yes, all the season were there. I was shock when I saw the price. It's $74 for one season. Is this a joke? I ask myself because I paid $19.99 at HMV. I thought the price is so high because it's renaud-bray. I went to another branch of HMV and tried to find some. Yes they got it and the price is the same as renaud-bray. I really had a big regret why I didn't buy all the series before. Now, I can't afford to buy them anymore. Hubby told me to buy me the series but I'm not sure if I want them now. Maybe I can buy them at ebay (used one) and I think that's reasonable one.

WINTER ROSES

Reading books is the last thing I would do. I'm not a book lover but sometime I read romance novel (english or tagalog). I'm very choosy when it comes to pocket book. If I like it, I can read the whole book in just a few hours but if it's not that interesting but still i want to read it, it will take days or maybe weeks. Just this afternoon, I finished reading this book, Winter Roses. It takes me a while to finish this book because I didn't find it interesting at first. But when I get into the middle of the story, it became more interesting. The story is about the widow woman and a divorce man. They fall in love with each other but the woman was scared of the hobbies of the man. But because of their great and true love, they both decided to give up their wants and overcome the fear. I was so impress of what the woman did to accept the man and his hobbies. She put her life in danger to overcome her fear so that she can love her man freely without knowing that the man give up his hobbies too to win the woman he really love.

I read half of this book for 1 and a half hour. I can't stop it. Now, I'm done with this book and I'm starting another one. I don't know yet if i will like the story..I will see :-)

NEW CREATION

Well, well, well...I'm here again back to this blogging world. It's been long that I didn't blog and I miss it so much. My work stopped me from blogging but now that I don't work anymore, then I have all my time to blog. Photography is also taking my time. I tried to take lots of photo and keep the best for my file. I'm started doing digital scrapbooking too. I did a lot before but I stopped when I started working. Since I'm not working now, I started to do all this things to make me busy. I love doing this things and I'm so happy that I have time now for this.

EXTRAORDINARY SUMMER

Yes it's true. We have a very extraordinary summer here. My co-workers and hubby told me that it's never been so warm here for the last 12 years. We have limited rain this year. As far as I remember, we only have 5 times rain since the last week of spring until now. They forecast rain for tomorrow and I'm looking forward to have it coz our grass are becoming yellow now and we are not allow to water the plans everyday. We have days and hours to follow for watering the plans. I feel pity for my flowers. I know that it's good what I'm doing but I have to break the rules of watering the plans or else, all my flowers will die. They are all blooming now and I want to enjoy them all. I worked a lot in my flowers last year and this year, they all bloom.

I heard a lot about himalayan salt lamp and I’m very curious about it. The look of the lamp is very beautiful especially if you put it in the living room and leave the light on very night. I'm so happy that finally I was able to update my photoshop, thanks to my beloved hubby:-) I lost my PS CS3 after my laptop was attacked with the very bad virus. Since then, I didn't do any digiscrap and I lost my interest in doing some. But hubby surprise me one day and handed me the Photoshop CS4 and I can't stop myself screaming with joy he he he. Now, I'm back to digiscraping. I'm so excited to do some for my family.

Hubby loves to sleep if there is music in our room. He used to have a radio clock but it broke 5 years ago. Since then, we didn’t buy another one. We just watch TV in the bedroom before we sleep and put my IPod on until the morning. I was thinking of giving a gift to my hubby as a way of thanking him on everything he did to me. I’m very conscious now of what I eat. I check very carefully how many calories I take in the day, watch the sugar intake and avoid the fatty foods. This was suddenly started last night. I been to the gym yesterday and everytime I do cardio, I didn’t check how much calories that I burn. But yesterday, I tried to check it and I burned 400 calories in 45 minutes. I was so happy because I thought that it was a lot. But then, I check in the internet and I found out that 400 is not really a lot. I need to burn more calories that what I take to lose weight. So what I did, I check the calorie intake of the day and try to burn it the next day he he he. I really don’t know if I’m doing the right thing. What I really want is to lose weight before our big show (that if I will lose someJ).

I tried to lessen my carbohydrate intake and eat more fruits and vegetables and fish. Photo above was my dinner last night. Its salmon with tomato sauce and steam vegetables.

It's almost two months now that I'm not updating in any of my blogs. Busy and lazy are not the reason why I'm not updating them. I was discourage and disappointed because Mr. G banned my adsense. The reason they said is because of illegal clicks. I know this is the main reason why they ban you and I know it very well. I got paid already for how many times and why should I click my own adsense? I'm not really mad at Mr. G because they are just doing their job. I'm pretty sure that one of my friends or hubby's family did it accidentally using my IP. They ask me to appeal but I lost my interest anymore. Maybe I will do it one day.

I been thinking of ignoring my blogs but I realized that it's not a good idea and I have to move on, continue updating and be conected again to my fellow bloggers.

Now I'm back and I hope this will continue...

BUSINESS AT HOME

Being a full time mom or wife is not that easy especially if you don’t have income at all. Sometime we can’t control it especially if we have small baby to take care of. OFF FROM WORK

Yes, it's my day off today. I was planning yesterday to do general cleaning in our computer room since it's all upside down. I did clean and washed our bed room, living room and kitchen last weekend and I was planing to do some in the computer room and in our bathroom and it should be today. But lazyness strike me today. Hubby woke me up this morning for our breakfast and after breakfast, I tried to sleep back. I felt guilty because hubby was in his workshop to do the final sanding of the funiture that I asked him to do for me. So I get up and I sit infront of my computer until hubby finish his job in the basement :-). We went out at 10:30 in the morning, went to the mall and as usual, his coffee break. The weather is so nice outside but I don't feel to go out anymore. I didn't even clean the bathroom and the computer room. Shame to myself! I will have my belly dancing tonight but I don't feel to go. Well, I guess it's just a bad day for me he he he and it's me who make it bad.

I have two boxes here that need to be send to my family in Philippines. I have it here since last year and they are both ready to go. I didn't send it last year because I'm wainting that the 3rd box will be ready but I didn't have much time to do shopping before. Now that I don't have much time at work, I have all my time now in blogging and of course shopping to finish the box. We started this afternoon and I was so happy because I got a good deal of the dove soap. My family loves it so much. So I bought enough for them and some baby stuffs for my little angels there. I'm looking forward to send these box so that we can move on the renovation in our basement. We are looking forward to finish the basement and have our photo studio and my karaoke at the same time in the same area. I don't know how we can do this but I'm sure that we can do it with the plan that we made.

I met with my best friend yesterday and she told me that her husband is getting crazy with this online game. Well, I'm talking about online casino. He knows about this from his friend. At first, he didn't believed it but he gave a try. He really enjoy it. He said to his wife that instead of going to the casino, he will just stay home and play online casino with his family. Well, it's really true. Why spending time to drive in the heavy traffic to go to the casino if you can do it at home? My friend told me that she's happy now because she her husband is always home.

Last week, my boss closed the Quiznos where I work. He said that the business is not profitable for him. I understand because he's renting a very big local and the rent was very expensive plus the heating and electricity. I was really sad because I like my work and my co-workers were very nice. It's so close to home that I can even walk to work. But I'm so thankful to my boss also because he recomend me to other Quiznos here in our place. I had an interview this afternoon and I will start working this thursday and friday. I'm so happy that I got this job. I already know all the recipe and everything. I'm just hoping that I will stay in this job for long. It's a good opportunity for me to practice my french.

For now, I will check Stahl Eye Center to get more information about lasik because hubby want to have one. He's tired of using his eye glasses so we decided to try lasik. In this way, he will not need to wear his eye glasses always.

LAZY DAY

We have a very nice weather today. It was very sunny outside and not that cold as we compare from the weather we had two days ago. Hubby offer me to have our breakfast at the resto but I said I don't feel to go out and beside from that, we had bought bagels for breakfast today. He prepared the breakfast while I'm facebooking and watching the last episode of MAY BUKAS PA. Then after the breakfast, he ask me if I want to have coffee with him at Tim Hortons but still I didn't go. After watching all the teleserye, I watched tv the whole afternoon...prepared our souper still with my pajama. Oh my! I can't believed I'm acting this way. I didn't even wash my face. I hope everything will be fine tomorrow. I'm very disappointed again today because of my laptop. It's still not working...I'm still using the old one.

We're planning to go to the Winter Festival in Old Quebec but the weather forecast said that it will be cold tomorrow... -21 celcius. I don't think we will go.

My new blogsite is finally working. If you remember, I posted here that my Gagiers Photography is no longer working. I didn't renew my domain because I want to change it to Photoblog which is the "THROUGH MY LENS". I really had the hard time looking for a better title but nothing came to my mind. Through my lens is hubby's idea which is acceptable to me. So I used it as the title and I started to make the site. It takes me a while to finish it because of my work. Everything in my work went so fast. I just started last Oct 19, 2009 and boss put me in the higher level. I really didn't expect that I will get that position that fast. I put most of my time in my work and almost no time to update my blogs. Last week, I was thinking of finishing my photoblog so that I can introduce to you soon.

I MISS BLOGGING

It's been a while that I didn't update my blogs. I'm no longer a fulltime housewife. I can't spend most of my time in my laptop as before due to my work. It's already two weeks gone since I started my work and my boss gave me more hours. It's not really my plan to work fulltime but I started to love my work and found more friends. And the most important is I practice my french while earning money :-) I want to save most of my salary because I'm thinking of taking a photography course. It's been a while that I'm thinking of this but I'm not satisfied with my french. My co-workers are all nice and they always correct my french and it really helps me. I started to gain confidence in talking french to the Quebecers (Quebecois) and I'm sure I can speak french fluently before the end of this year he he he.

I'm not working today and yesterday. We had a very nice and sunny day yesterday and today. We took advantage of the nice weather. We finished the Christmas lights outside and I spend a whole day cleaning our computer room and just now, I'm babysetting the daughter of my friend. She's working tonight until midnight and she was not able to find somebody to babysit for the night. I picked up her baby at the daycare at 4 pm and she still here until 8:45 pm. The auntie of the baby will pick her up after work.

This is all for now guys. The baby wants me to play with her...I will really try my best to blog tomorrow after work or after my bellydancing class.

I don't know how to start this post but I will try my best to have one. I was inactive for a while because of a very stupid reason. I been trying to many times to make an entry but my mind was not working. I was very distracted with my farms in Facebook. I spend most of my time in that game and not even doing some house chores. I’m not really proud of myself. I’m getting crazy with that game. And now, I’m trying to minimize my time in my so called farm and concentrate in my blog.

Lots of things happen to me in the past few weeks. Some were good and some were not that good but not that bad too. I’m already in my third week of my belly dancing class. The first day was not exciting. When I saw the instructor, I felt disappointed because she is very fat he he he. But when she dance, oh my! Her body is very flexible. I like my belly dancing course now. I’m looking forward for our final show he he he.

I’m back with my French language course too. It’s really a need for us here to speak French fluently to have a nice job. I don’t really like that much but I have no choice. It’s only 1 day per week, so it’s not that bad at all.

We’re always away from home every weekend. And hopefully, I can share to you the photo of our weekend trip soon. I will not promise but I will try.

LES FÊTES DE LA NOUVELLE FRANCE

I'm back guys from my long absence. I arrived from my 50 days vacation in Philippines last Aug 8 in the morning. Its been 3 weeks now since I arrived here but sad to say that I was not able to update my blogs, not even sharing you my photos from my vacation as I promise. I had a hard time adjusting myself from the change of time here and most of all, I've been missing my family so much and this is the reason why I was not able to blog and we been out of town also a few times.

Well, enough of that :-) The next day of my arrival here was the last day of "Les Fêtes de la Nouvelle France". I was very lucky that I was able to catch this festival. Eversince I arrived here, I never miss this festival. It's my 6th year this year and it's always been my dream to have a dress like them. We tried to find a cheaper one for me but we never find one. It worth $200 - $400. I know lots of people willing to pay this amount to please themselves but I not me. This is too much for me and I can't afford to pay that amount. I took the opportunity of having one from Philippines. You know how much I paid for my dress? Believed it or not, I paid $15 Canadian only he he he..good deal eh?

HER LOVE OF SENDING LETTERS

It’s been a while that I never send letters to my friends in Philippines. I used to send letters to them of my first few months of my stay here in Canada. But because of our technology these days, I stop sending letters to them but I always communicate them by sending emails or chatting. But my sister-in-law, she loves sending letters to her friends and love ones even if they all have computers. She told me that writing letters is really her passion. Last Christmas, I gave her a set of stationary papers and hubby gave her a nice pen. She was very happy when she received our gifts.
Next month will be her 60th birthday. I know already what I will give her as her birthday gift. For sure she will be very happy if she will see the personalized address labels that I will give to her. I remember one day that she told me that she would like to have personalized address labels. Well, I guess will be the best gift that I can give to her on her very special day.

Yes, I'm here in Hongkong airport. I just arrive a while ago. I arrived in gate 64 and my next flight is in gate 1. Oh my, I walk 1 kilometers or maybe more. Good that I have 3 hours my next flight. I almost run because I want to be in gate 1 so that I can open my computer. And here I am! I just want to let you know that I'm going back to Canada and be with my husband. I miss him a lot but leaving my family in Philippines is really hard too. I started missing them already especially the little kids. For now, I don't have any plan yet of visiting them.

BLOGGING FROM PHILIPPINES

Hi guys! I'm really really sorry for not updating all my blogs. I'm here in Philippines now with my family. Actually, I arreived here June 19 and we flew to CDO the next day. Not updating my blogs is not the fault of the internet connect. It's my fault. I'm too busy visiting my friends and relatives, party here and party there and I didn't give time to update my blogs. I feel very guilty now so I decided to do it at least twice a week. Anyway, my stay here is very memorable. We had our Mega EB with my bolanon.com family last June 27 and it was really great. I'm so happy that I finally meet them in person. Two days after the mega eb, one of the member invited us to have dinner in her house after their town fiesta. I ate a lot and I'm not ashame to tell you that I'm gaining a lot lot lot. I really missed Pilipino foods and I can't stop myself eating them all. We will have another gathering tonight, that means, more Pilipino foods again and I ordered sea foods. We took a lot of photos and I will post it here sometime or maybe when I will come back in Canada. I still have 42 days of stay here and I will make sure that this 42 days will be more memorable for me. This is all for now guys and have a nice day to all!

NINE DAYS MORE TO GO

Yes! Few more days and I will be with my family. I'm so excited now to see them especially my 3 nieces and nephew that I never seen yet in person. I wonder how they gonna react when they will see their Tita Giers he he he. I'm so excited now.

But in the other hand, I'm a little bit worried also because I saw in the TV news that there is one H1N1 Virus victim here in Quebec City area that died few days ago. I don't want to catch this virus and distroy my vacation. I am scheduled for anti-flu vaccination this coming thursday. I'm just hoping that everything will go fine. I will be leaving next week so I have to make sure that I'm in good shape.

SEVERE HEADACHE

I'm suffering a severe headache since this morning. I tried not to take pain reliever but tonight, it's getting worst. So I took two tablet of tylenol migrain. It's not yet getting better but I know I will be okey after a few minutes. I hate if I have headache like this. It's really bad and I feel dizzy if I get up. I'm just hoping that I will be okey soon because I still have lots of rolls to do. I just received another order a while ago. They said that it's not urgent but I want to do it as soon as possible because the sooner I do it, the sooner that I will get money he he he.

OUTING WITH FRIENDS

My friend is asking me last week to go with her to pick up some stuff to her previous house which is already sold. We drove one hour with her old car. It was so warm so we need to open the A/C of the car. We were in the middle of the highway when the air condition blown. We were very disappointed because it was so warm. My friend is allergy of dust so we can’t open the window of the car. We have no choice; we have to suffer the heat inside the car. Yesterday, she went to the car shop for the reparation. They told her that they have to change the air conditioning compressor and it cost a lot for her. Hubby helps her to find one online. I'M SO CARELESS

I'm very upset of what I did a while ago. We almost had fire in our house because of my carelessness. I was boiling water in an electric pot for my tea. After I put the water in the electric pot, I came back here in the computer room to update my blogs. I visited my friends blog and I enjoy reading their entry. I forgot about my tea. When I remember that I boiled water in the electric pot, I ran right away in the kitchen and found out that there was no water in the pot anymore and the smoke turns black. I unplug right away. I was so afraid and thankful at the same time because it didn't cause a fire.

With what happen, I learned a lesson in my carelessness. Never leave any electric machine that heat when it's working to avoid fire.

TREADMILL FOR MY MINI GYM

It’s almost three months now that I started my diet and exercise and I didn’t see any problem for now. I’m very careful of the foods that I eat and do my daily exercise. The only thing that I’m not doing is walking and jogging in the bike trail. Sometimes it’s raining and most of the time it’s so sunny. It’s pretty obvious that I can’t go for a walk or jogging if it’s raining but still I’m doing exercise at home. I go up and down in the stairs. The result is the same as I did it outside. If it’s sunny, I don’t feel walk under the sun. I can’t stand very long under the sun if it’s so sunny. I feel very week. So, I just prefer to do my exercise at home. I feel comfortable and no stress.

We have exercise bike in the basement where do my exercise. Basement is my place. I have my own home theatre there. It’s there also where I dance salsa and belly dancing for my exercise and I have my computer there too. Lately, I was thinking of doing a little gym in the basement. I told hubby about this but he didn’t agree. We don’t have enough space because his workshop took lots of space in the basement. But I found a solution. We have a spare kitchen in the basement that we never use and I guess this is a good area for my gym. All we have to do it demolish the wall that separates my entertainment room and the kitchen. I was so happy because hubby agreed my suggestion. He told me that he will demolish the wall during my vacation in Philippines. I’m so excited now to have my little gym.

BUSY AND EXCITING DAYS

Well, I'm late again and have a very late update. Sorry again guys :-( I'm so busy lately. I need to finish all the works inside and outside the house before I will fly to Philippines. We just finished installing the new cenima maison. Installing is not as easy as what we thought. We've change all the cables and to do that, we have to go to the attic and to go there is not easy. You have to crawl and hubby was doing it alone. I felt pity for him. And finally, it's done and we're enjoying now our new cenima maison (home theater). Aside from that, I did my spring cleaning. I washed all the windows, outside and inside, and I washed all the walls. It's a complete cleaning. Everything in the house is already clean and ready for the summer.

Outside, I already started cleaning my flower garden and the spring flowers are already blooming especially my tulips. This year, I started to plant some herbs. Hubby is already complaining he he he because he will take care all my plants alone for 50 days. Poor hubby.

WINE LOVER

Honestly, I’m not drinking wine in Philippines. Aside from not liking the taste, the price is so expensive. I can’t afford to buy one. Instead of buying wine, I prefer to buy some foods for my family and some other important things. But since I arrived here in Canada, hubby and his family love wine. So to go with the flow, I tried to drink some and slowly, I started liking it. They always give me bottle of wine everytime they visited me here. And I bought some bottle of wines also for me and I discover which one taste good. Since then, I become a wine lover. Hubby and I used to drink wine every weekend but now, since I’m in a diet, we stop drinking wine unless we have visitors or if we visit some friends or family. I have quite a lot of wine in my mini bar and ready to serve if we have visitors.

I invited my friends to have dinner here in our house this weekend. We will have barbeque party whatever the weather is. One of my friends requested champagne. She’s really a champagne lover. Good that I have 4 bottles of champagne here and I don’t need to buy some for her and I’m so excited to use my champagne bucket that my sister-in-law gave to me as a gift for my birthday last March. It’s been a while that I want to use it but there is no occasion that I can use it. My friend saw it last week when she visited me here and she wants to have it. I didn’t give it to her because it’s a gift from my sister-in-law. So I decided to give her one this weekend as a gift for the Mother’s Day. I already check some information about Champagne buckets because honestly, I really don’t know which one to buy and which one is good for her.

I’m so excited and looking forward to give my gift to my bestfriend.

NEW MEMBER OF SIERAS FAMILY

OUT FOR THE WEEKEND

We are living tomorrow for Montreal. We will attend a birthday party on the saturday night but we will be there tomorrow night. We just want to go away from the house and enjoy ourselves together with friends. We will come back here sunday night.

I will pick up hubby at his office tomorrow at 3:00pm and then we will drive straight to Montreal. Most probably, we will arrive there 6:30 because we will stop from dinner and if the weather is nice, we will stop some places and take some picture as what we use to do everytime we go for a ride. We're not in a hurry so maybe we can take picture, that if the weather is nice.

I LOVE COOKING

Do you consider cooking as a talent? If yes, then I have that talent. Yes I love cooking very much. I didn’t know that I have this talent until I live with my husband. I never cook when I was still in Philippines. Well, I can cook but just a simple menu like frying eggs, fish and cooking rice. My dad was a good cook. He used to cooked delicious foods especially every Sunday. When he died, nobody can cook like my dad.

When I arrived here in Canada, my hubby always cook me Canadian foods which I don’t like that much. But I have no choice. I have to adopt the culture here, language and the foods. I started to get use of it, the environment, their culture and especially the weather here. But the foods, I’m still trying to get use of it. I’m always craving for Pilipino foods so I decided to give it a try. I cooked simple Pilipino foods and I was happy of the result. My husband and his family loved it so much. Their compliments encourage me to cook more and learn more recipes. I cooked Pilipino foods most of the time if hubby’s family visits us here. Then I started to cook different menu in different country. Sometimes, I did experiment from different ingredients and claim it as my own recipe. I’m so proud of the result of my recipe.

Hubby’s family suggested me to have my own restaurant since there is no Pilipino Restaurant in our area. I would love to have one but I’m not sure if hubby can afford to finance my restaurant. I keep on thinking of this kind of business and I know it’s a good investment. I need to have a good restaurant funding that have a low interest that is good for a beginner like me. My friend told me about ARF, Advance Restaurant Finance. I check it online and I found it very interesting and their response is very quick. Well, I have to study this and most probably I will go for it.

TOO BAD FOR HUBBY

I really feel pity for my hubby this morning. He walked to his office because the car is not working. He forgot to close the door of the car last night and the battery got empty this morning though we have a car charger but it's too late when we found out that the car is not working. He has no choice so he walked to his office and the bad thing is we have a slight rain today. I really feel pity for him. It's not worth to take a taxi because his office is just 5 mins walk from home.

Anyway, that's life. The car is already running and I just arrived from driving around so that the battery will be fully charge. I have to go out again after this post to make sure the battery will work properly.

BUSINESS PROBLEM

Hubby’s cousin has a construction business. The business has been very profitable since he started it many years ago. But recently, because of the crisis and lots of competition, the business started to slow down. Since they started the business on the time that technology is not yet know, they promote their business through verbal and hand written or type written letter. In other words, they are too way behind in today’s new technology. I suggested them to have a website of their business so that people can find their business easily. But the problem now is they know nothing about computer and they ask me if I can do it. Yes I’m computer literate but I don’t have experience for business purpose. I refused and I help them in finding the right person to do that job. We found Fast-teks, a company that can help them about computer problems. This is perfect for hubby’s cousin for his business. They can have computer training from fast-teks and have their business website at the same time. FIXING UP THE PATIO

Finally, we took out our patio table set this afternoon from the shed. The weather is so nice so we decided to start fixing up our patio. We just finished arranging the table and chairs and we will wait next week to fix up the Tarpaulin because I still have to paint the bars where to put the tarpaulin. I'm looking forward to have breakfast and souper outside as what we did last summer.

By the way, it's my first day today for my jogging session :-). Oh my! I thought I will die hehehe. It was really a tough one. I guess it's because it my first time doing it. I will do it tomorrow again and hopefully, I will do it until june.

HAPPY EASTER IN ADVANCE

I know it's not yet the right time or let's says, it's too soon to greet you a Happy Easter. I just want to greet all of you in advance because I will not blog until Monday this week. At least, in this way, I can greet you all a Happy Easter.

We don't have any plan for the Easter Sunday. This Saturday, we will have dinner at my sister-in-law's place. And most probably, we will go to Ste-Anne de Beaupré church this Sunday. Then, I don't know what we gonna do after. Hubby is not working Monday next week, so maybe, we will try to visit some of his friend that we never seen for long.

ALIVE AND KICKING

Yes, I'm still alive and kicking but too busy with other things. I'm really sorry guys for not updating this blog. And to those who visited me, thank you so much. I really appreciate it.

Hubby and I were away for 2 days. We been to the chalet and we been going around with the snow mobile to end up the winter. We had a great time in the chalet and the weather was very nice on that time. Everytime we're in the chalet, I can use my computer because there's no electricity there. There is generator, solar charger battery and wind power charger (a little windmill..I don't know exactly the term in english) but I don't want to plug my laptop there because there is no use, there's no internet signal over there hehehehhe. So, there's no need to bring my laptop. And when we came back home, we have a live-in visitor that until now, they are still here. They will be back to their place maybe tomorrow night or Monday the latest. This is the reason why I was not able to update my blog. I'm so sorry again and thanks to those who keep on visiting here..really appreciated :-)

SPORTS FOR HUBBY

Hubby is already planning on what he will do during my vacation in Philippines. He will be here alone for 50 days because he doesn’t want to go to Philippines this year. He’s off from work every summer so he already started thinking on what he will do this summer. He told me last night that he will spend sometimes in the chalet with his cousin then go fishing and horse riding. I’m so happy because with these activities, he will not feel lonely when I will be in Philippines.

Just now, I will check DeSantis Holsters online. I’m thinking of giving him one because he’s thinking of going to a shooting course with friends sometimes this summer.

SKI RESORT

Photo above is the ski resort where we been yesterday. This is quite expensive ski resort but still we used to go to this resort because my brother-in-law has a condo-cottage in the side of the resort. The kids are member of the ski club in this resort so we use to come here once in a while during winter. Yesterday was the last day of our visit there because the resort will close very soon.

Good health is so important to me and I’m sure it is so important to all of you. To keep my health in good shape, I always go to my family doctor for a general check up. I always want to make sure that everything is fine in my health especially my blood sugar and my kidney. My dad died because of kidney failure and he had dialysis for 10 years and it really cost a fortune. That is why I’m always checking if my kidney is working very well. I’m so happy that I’m in good health just now.

It’s so hard to be sick in Philippines because the hospital bills and the medicines are very expensive. I really want to know if I’m in good shape before I will travel.

I'M SICK

I know it's been long that I didn't update all my blogs. It's not because I didn't care of it but it's because I'm sick. It's already more than a week now that I suffering from colds and cough. At first, I didn't mind it. I still go for work and didn't take any pills for colds and cough. 3 days ago, it's getting worst especially on that time that I worked in the storage to check all the products for our inventory. It was boldy cold there and I don't have good cloth for that. I didn't know that it was that cold there. Yesterday, I started my work at 7 in the morning and I went hope at 9 in the morning. I lost my voice and I feel dizzy. I had a regret why I didn't go to the hospital the night before. Hubby kepts on telling me to go to the hospital but I said no. I just want to rest and I thought I will be okey in the next day. I told my manager on what i feel and she told me to go home and rest. I called my hubby to pick me up because I'm afraid to drive back home because I felt dizzy. He was in the mall the other mall and I called many times on his cellfone but there was no answer. So I have no choice, I just drive slowly back home and I rest. When he hears his fone beeping for the message, he found out that there was many misscall from me and from our landline fone. He call me back and I was already home so he came back home quickly as he can and he bring me to the hospital right away. The doctor found out that I have a severe colds and cough and severe Laryngitis. She recommend me to take a week of rest and syrup for my cough and a pill to bring back my voice. And the worst thing is, the syrup for my cough can make me sleep and the pills for my laryngitis can make me awake and give more appetite. I have to take them together. Can you imagine taking syrup that make you sleep and pills that makes you awake? I really can't imagine. Last night was the horrible night I ever had. I feel sleepy but I can't sleep. And the result is, I felt dizzy every time I move and I feel to vomite. I feel pity to hubby because he was not able to sleep also because of me. What I did is, I didn't follow the instruction of the doctor. I took the pills this morning and I will take the syrup tonight. I think this is the best for me he he he. I will be the doctor of myself.

Just now, I just stayed home and I feel bad that I don't have salary for a week. I will try to go back to work monday next week. I think I will be okey on that day.

This is my update for now...I will just give you some update later.

MY FRIEND'S FARM

My friend has a farm for business. She and her husband are raising chickens and pigs in their farm. Few years ago, the business was very successful. They were able to sell thousand and thousand of chickens and pigs. They are the one who supply pork and chicken meat at the meat shop in their village and in the supermarket. The business was in good shape until her husband become alcoholic. He stops taking care of their business and spends most of their profit in buying alcohol. My friend was very upset of what her husband is doing. She can’t work fulltime in the farm because she has 5 kids. Her kids need her more.

One day, her husband was diagnosed of a lung cancer. It was already an acute cancer and the doctor cannot do more that what they did to him. It didn’t take long and he died in the hospital. I’m just happy that my friend is very strong. She works hard in their farm now to give a better life to her kids. But the farm is no longer as successful as before because her husband didn’t take care of it. Now she needs to do something to bring back her business. She looks for a business loan that will have a quick approval because she will need the money for her business as soon as possible. She was very happy that she found Merchant Advisors. Merchant Advisors approve business loans very quickly with no collateral and even if you have a poor credit history. This is really perfect for my friend. And the good thing is she can apply online right in her own computer. She told me that she will apply as soon as possible. I’m so happy for her and looking forward to see her business growing.

ANOTHER JOB OFFER

Last week, the manager of one of the company that I applied called me and ask me if I'm still looking for a job. Too bad, they called late. I already have job and I like what I'm doing now. If hubby would allow me to have two job, I will really take it because I can work few hours at night and in the weekend as it's my dayoff from my present job. But hubby don't want me to have double job. He said that I will be very tired after working. So, I refused the offer and just concentrate in my present job.

My eyes are one of the important parts of my body. With my eyes, I can appreciate the beauty of nature and everything. I’m wearing eyeglasses since I was in my secondary years. I’m so afraid to get blind so I really take good care of my eyes. Four years ago, I bought new eyeglasses. At first, I wore it once in a while because I don’t like the style but as time goes by, I always had a headache if I’m not wearing my eyeglasses. I have no choice; I need to wear my eyeglasses always.

Yes it’s true that if we are not careful in our eye care, we can easily spend hundreds and even thousands. I read all through the article and the comparison-shop for frames interests me most. We all know that lots of big businesses and companies were closed because of the economy crisis today and thousand of thousands of workers were laid off from their job. Almost all of them are worried on how to support their family especially if they have kids at school. Our friend is one of these workers that were laid off. He didn’t worry that much because his wife has a convenient store and as of now, the store is doing well. They are thinking of putting vending machines in their store to get more profit. Just now, they already found where to get quickest and safest return vending machine. They know that with this vending machine, they will get more profit and this will be a big help for him and to his family.

QUEBEC WINTER CARNAVAL

This is what I been waiting for, the winter carnaval here in Quebec. This activity was started last Jan 30, that was last friday. Saturday the next day, we went to the carnaval in the morning because we already planned to go to the ski resort in the afternoon. I was really disappointed when we arrived in the carnaval. The ice sculpture that I was really dying to see is not yet done. They just started making it on that day. I would really love to take pictures in all the ice sculpture because the participiting countries always have unique design. I just trying to enjoy myself by snow rafting, sliding and other activities. We stayed there up to 1pm only and drove straight to the ski resort.

PREGGY AGAIN

I had a chat with my whole family last Sunday morning of their time. I requested that chat because I really miss the kids, my nephews and nieces. As I mentioned in my other post, I have 3 nieces that I never meet yet in person. The youngest one is only 2 months old and the other 2 girls are both 2 years old. They are so cute. I’m really looking forward to see them all this June. I will spend my summer vacation there in Philippines.

I talked with my sister-in-law in the chat too and I was really shock when she told me that she’s pregnant again. Oh my! That’s too fast. The baby is still 2 years old. That baby will be their 3rd kid and she told me that that will be the last one. I hope so because with the crisis today, it’s really hard to raise a baby. So, I will be auntie again for the 8 times. During the last pregnancy of my other sister-n-law, the mother of the 2 months old baby, I gave her maternity clothes and other baby stuffs. I want to be fair with my other sister-in-law, so I will give here same thing that I gave to the other one. But she told me that she has enough maternity dress so I decided to give her stuff for the baby. I have to look for strollers and baby cribs online. This will be my gifts to my new niece or nephew. They don’t know the gender of the baby yet. This is a good timing because she will give birth this May and I will be there in June. I will bring the stroller and the baby crib with me rather than sending it in the box. My 2 boxes are already full now and I will send it very soon.

I STOP MY FRENCH COURSE

I received a good news last sunday night (sorry I can't tell you now, i will tell you next week). I was so happy when I received that good news. I feel excited and scared at the same time. But I'm always thinking that I can do it. Well, back to my french course, I decided to stop it. I feel bad because I started to like my course especially now that I'm already in the higher level. I been to the school yesterday afternoon. I talk to the nun (the head of the school) and told her that I have to stop. Infact, I didn't told here that I will stop, I just told her that I can't attend the class this week and it's possible that I will stop it completely.

So this is it! Just wish me luck guys :-) I'm just hoping that everything will go fine.

FIESTA IS COMING

Two more days to go and it's the fiesta of our barangay Cuasi in Philippines. I really miss this celebration. The 9 nightly program is the most exciting part of this celebration that I really missed. Mom told me that my brother and sister will be there too. How I wish I can spend sometimes on our barangay fiesta. I will be in Philippines this summer and the next plan will be for sure in January next year or the year after so that I can celebrate with them.

Well, I will have to go now. I still have to call my family in Philippines.

6th YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Time is flying so fast. Few more days and I will be 5 years here in Canada but I still feel that I just arrived yesterday he he he. 3 months more to go and it’s my birthday and our 6th year wedding anniversary at the same time. I always remember our happy moments during our wedding day when hubby and me exchange our vows and put our wedding rings in our finger. I really like my wedding ring which is inlaid tungsten ring. Last year was our 5th year anniversary and he gave me a titanium bracelets. It was his gift for me. It’s really beautiful gift. I’m looking at the black tungsten rings and I feel to buy one to give to my hubby for our 6th year wedding anniversary. I have to check my budget if it’s enough to buy one.

A LITTLE BIT DISAPPOINTED

I have a great day today though I was a little bit disappointed. A friend called me here last night (for 6 months that she didn't call us) and told me that she wants to come here. Of course I miss her so much and I was happy that finally she call, so I said yes. We fix the time and the place where we could pick her up and we will have lunch to my friend's appartement. She sound very excited when we talked last night so we (my friends here) decided to have lunch with her and she told me also that she will bring fish. Oh my! We're wasting our time waiting for her. She never come, not even a call to tell us that she can't come. It's already 12:30 that we decided to go to my friend's appartement to have lunch. Even without her, we're still happy and enjoy our lunch.

COMFORTABLE PANTS

Everytime I'm home, I always wear jogging pants of even pajama. I feel comfortable with those kinds of cloths. But hubby always complains if I wear pajama in the day time at home. We went for a shopping to buy clothes that are comfortable for me. I bought some jogging pants and I will buy Kikwear pants online. I saw their pants and I like it because it is comfortable.

Now, hubby will not complain anymore :-)

Good morning guys:-) It's another wonderful day. Though we have a very cold weather today, it's still wonderful day because it's so sunny. Eventhough you stay home but you can still feel the sunlight outside. I like if it's sunny because it gives me energy. We have a very cold weather for the last 2 days and the forecast will be cold until sunday. But next week, the temperature will go up and there will be a lot of snow. But I don't mind:-) I love if it's snowing. I use to play in the snow and if there is a snow storm, we always go out to see what's happening outside. We even drive in the very bad road. That's my and hubby he he he.

Well, that's all for now. I have to clean the kitchen. It's so messy after the party last night.

I’ve talked to my friend few weeks ago. She called me and we talked for almost 2 hours. She told me how happy she is to have her son’s life back. She had a problem with her son 3 years ago. Her son became very alcoholic and the worst was his life was affected so much. He was not able to control himself and he became so wild. My friend doesn’t know what to do to her son and she was so afraid. She tried to treat him but she failed. MY CHRISTMAS LAYOUT WITH FRIENDS

This is my first layout this year. It's my picture with my filipina friends that lives just close to us. In short, we are neighbors :-). This serves as our christmas celebration for just the 4 of us. It just a very simple party but it was a very memorable one. We live just close to each other but we're not seeing each other often. The two are both busy with their works and the other one is busy with her first baby boy.

I did this layout for them. I want to give a copy of this layout to them as a simple remembrance from me. I hope they will like it.

One beautiful and sunny day! Yes, that's what we have today. Though it's quite cold as we have -21C but it's still nice and wonderful day. We just arrived from our saturday brunch. There were lots of people in the resto and lots of people outside taking their morning walk. Just next block where we live is a ski station and it's full of kids and teens with their parents. We will be going there in a few minutes to takes some picture.

GIFT FOR MY NIECE

My niece will be one month old this coming January 17. As her auntie, I want to give her a gift for her first month birthday. I already bought lots of cute things for baby girl. I have two 2 years old niece and 1 that will be 1 month old next week. I never saw these 3 little girls yet. I’m so excited to see them in person this summer. I saw them in the webcam only. I already sent lots of toys and some cloths for them. I have 2 boxes here for my family in Philippines that I will send in March. One box is already half full and the other one is still empty. I shop for children clothing online. I found lots of cute dresses and toys that are perfect for them. I shop for little girls clothes for my 3 nieces and the baby girl clothes for 3 months to 24 months are perfect for the youngest one. I like the Austin and Ashley Big Flower and Stripes Shorts Set because it’s not warm. It’s perfect for Philippines as the weather there is warm. I will buy six pairs, 2 pairs per kid. I also want to give Baby Gift Baskets Lil Sweet Pea Infant Girl Gift Set to the youngest one for her 1 month birthday. This basket is stuff with essentials to welcome the new baby girl. Oh, I’m so excited now to give these gifts to my 3 little nieces. With these gifts, I can full my first box and will be ready to send to Philippines. The box will be there same time of my arrival and I will give them personally.

SNOW STORM

Yes we had a snow storm today and the weather forecast said that the storm will still be going on until tomorrow afternoon. There's not much snow falls but it's the strong wind and it carry the snow. The wind in our area is not that strong. We went out and drive to the place where they have a really strong wind. We want to take a picture that we will submit to Canadian Geography Photo Contest because the theme is "Who has seen the wind?" It's really hard to take a photo with the strong wind. I was able to take one and I really don't know with hubby if he was able to take one. But one thing for sure, he took a picture of me he he he. It was really hard in my eyes because I was facing the wind and the power snow enter in my eyes. I don't have eyeglasses or even sunglasses.

DREAM HOUSE

Since I was still a kid, it’s always my dream to have my own house build the way I want. When I married my husband, he already has his own house. Since I live here with him, I changed a lot in the house. The house is nice and well care. But there are lots of things here that I don’t like. Like our living room before. It was too small and so with the kitchen. In fact, it was the dining room that hubby converted it to a living room. I transfer our living room to one of the spare bedroom next to the master’s bedroom and I transfer the dining room to where the living room before. In this way, I will have a spacious kitchen. Just a month ago, we took out one of the wall in the living room to make it a bigger one. We did a good job. Our living room now is twice bigger that the one before. My only concern now is our dining room. The family is getting bigger and bigger. Everytime we have a family get together, the dining room becomes too crowded. Hubby decided to sell our house next year and buy a bigger one. I’m very okey with his plan but I told him that I want to have the house that I dream of. We still have lots of time a find a home builder that can build a custom home. We’ve read Schumacher Homes News and we both think that they are the one that can do my dream house. I’m so excited now.

WELCOME 2009

This may be a late greetings but I still believed the saying " it's better late than never". I'm so sorry friends, I was too busy preparing for the new year's party here in our house for all the Boutet Family. Every January 1, they will celebrate here in our house and since I arrived here, we always have a big celebration. They love Pilipino foods and they always want it everytime they came home. I always spend 2 days preparing the foods but this year, I made it simple. It was simple yet I spend 1 day for the preperation. I did the dessert a day before new year. It really helps a lot. I saved more time.

The party was really great. Everybody enjoy the night. I was so happy that it's over now though we're not finish cleaning the mess. We spend 3 hours just washing the dishes this morning. I really hate if we use the plate that we can't wash in the dishwasher. It's a plates from my inlaws with a design made of 18k gold that's why we can't wash it in the dishwasher. Hopefully, we will finish everything tomorrow.

I always have a good time everytime I'm with my filipina friends here because we can talk in our native language. We had lunch date today at my friend's house. I really had a great time with them. We live in the same area very close to each other but we didn't see each other that much because they are busy in their works. We decided to have that lunch date today because it's only today that we are all free. We ate a lot of pilipino foods. We drink a lot of wine and I was a little bit tipsy he he he. Good thing that I'm not driving. Hubby was our personal driver. He drops us at my friend's house and picked us at 4pm. Poor hubby he he he.
